Socks 101 - A wonderful tutorial on how to make socks.
Kitchner Stitch - Short concise explanation of how to do the Kitchner stitch.  No pictures.  But found it more easy than with pictures.  Do find a quiet place to do it.
Kickback Socks - A wonderful tutorial on how to make socks with a two colors.  More than just stripes.  Color change a bit more complicated.
Anatomical Socks - The overall results were great.  But I needed to use this pattern in conjunction with the two sock tutorials and a bit of common sense.

Virtual Afghan - I absolutely LOVE this site!  never knew there could be so many different granny squares.  this site is always being added to and improved.

Recipes
Canning Basics -  canning instructions and recipes for tomatoe, salsa, and fruit.
Recipe Resource -  HUGE database of recipes. I have used many from this site.  sorted by region and by type.  Looking for unique,  you will find it here.
Allrecipes.com - Another great place for recipes.  I have used many from this site.  wonderful search engine.  AND you can adjust your recipe to the size you need.

FreePatterns.com -  a lot of free patterns on this site. Must sign up, but is free.  general crafts, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, plastic canvas, sewing, quilting and tatting patterns on this site.  need acrobat reader but worth the time for the download. All the patterns I have tried were beautiful.  So many to try. So little time *S*
Snuggles - Patterns to make snuggles for pets.  I believe these are like blankets.  This is a site that is for helping animals in the humane society and  rescued by helping to provide something cuddle for them, instead of the cement floor.  Knitting, crocheting, and sewing/quilt patterns for snuggles.
KnitnCrochet- this site has more than knitting and crochet patterns.  I have only used some of the knitting and crocheting patterns.
